After the company has been licensed and incorporated services will broadly be in the following categories:
- Preparation and maintenance of all necessary books and records.
- Preparation of monthly or quarterly financial accounts and management reports.
- Preparation of year end financial statements.
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Liaison with external auditors to complete annual audits.
- Liaison with tax consultants on VAT, Corporation Tax and IPT issues as necessary.
- Liaison with client to complete regular board of director meetings in Dublin to include preparation of detailed board books for clients.
- Establish investment guidelines (as approved by the Board) and ensure proper monitoring systems are in place to ensure adherence to these guidelines.
- Preparation and submission of Financial Regulator quarterly and annual returns, including liaison with Compliance Officer to ensure full compliance with insurance regulations.
- Liaison with the Financial Regulators - Insurance Division in relations to changes to original business plan and any compliance issues that may arise.
- Preparation of annual CRO filings.
- Liaison with internal auditors as necessary.
- Completion of, or co-ordination with Company Secretary on, all Company Law filings.
- Preparation and issuance of Operations Manual & regular updates of same.
- Liaison with other service providers as necessary.
- Liaising with Appointed Actuary (if required).
Operational (day to day) financial administration to include:
- Maintenance of General Ledger and Books of Account.
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly and annual financial statements complete with agreed format financial report.
- Cash and investment Management.
- Cash receipts and payments (note all funds are in client's own accounts, not in a Novus account).
