About Novus Financial
Novus Financial & Management Solutions Limited is an independent financial management solutions and consultancy company established in June, 2005. The company currently employs 5 staff, many of whom have worked together for several years and has a number of experienced consultants available to it.
Novus directors and staff have in excess of 75 years experience in the financial services industry collectively. The company is Chaired by Eamon Walsh, FCA, former CEO of Hibernian Insurance Company Limited, Ireland 's largest insurance company.
The company's Managing Director, Eamon O'Brien FCA, has almost 20 years experience in the financial services arena including almost 14 years as the Managing Director of one of the largest insurance and reinsurance management companies in Ireland 's IFSC.
Since returning to Ireland in 1991, Eamon O'Brien has acted as Chairman of An Taoiseach's (the Irish Prime Minister) IFSC Insurance Group as well as The Dublin International Insurance and Management Association (DIMA). He has also consulted on several government committees including committees establishing the strategy for the future development of international financial services in Ireland. Eamon has been joined at Novus by several experienced staff from his former company.
Insurance and reinsurance management is very much a growth business sector in international financial services and one in which there are now huge opportunities for an independent manager due to significant regarding large companies potentially dominating the services marketplace.
We are not solely insurance managers. Our company is a management company that provides a wide range of financial services to our client companies, who themselves in many cases accept risk or trade in the financial markets. A number of these are international insurance and reinsurance companies.
In addition we have the ability to provide a full range of financial services to Risk Securitisation and SPV's, captive finance companies, agency treasury companies, etc.
In many cases the activities of these companies are regulated by The Financial Regulator with whom Novus have a well established relationship.
The relationship between the Client and Novus will be governed by a formal signed management agreement.
